Equipment by the Italian Armed Forces
The equipment of the Italian armed forces is listed in this section. In the first years, mainly Italian-made equipment was used.
After the end of the Second World War, NATO equipment was also used in Italy. Some American surplus equipment was also used by government agencies after being refurbished and Italian front panels installed.
